Galilee Vacation House
Galilee, Israel | 250 sq. m house | 800 sq. meter plot | 2004
Using the hillside topography of this unique landside setting as a great vacation home overlooking the Kinnert Sea of Galilee. Local stone excavated from the site was used as a central wall running through the house from the entrance, seen throughout the public spaces inside and out reaching up to the pool alongside a huge window floating over the pool at the end of the living area. This stone wall elevated up into the second level of the house and out to the upper balcony overlooking the seaview. From every angle one can see and fell the nature surrounding. The shabby-chic style of interior design of the villa was done in a way to accentuate the vacation freestyle feeling. Warm textures and color palatte was used in abundance.
