NB House
Tel-Aviv, Israel | 820 sq. meter house | 1150 sq. meter plot | 2009

Built for a couple with two young children on a corner plot at the end of a quiet neighborhood. The plan was to maximize the emphasis of the pool and create a feature enhancing the living space of the house as if floating on the water. As entering the front-gate a water element flows and leads up to the pool with a unique tree floating in the pool and leading up to the double height front door. The grand double height entrance is balanced with a modern bridge overlooking the entrance from the upper level. The detailed staircase is designed as a "sculpture" element of vertical movement in this 4 story villa. The style is modern and elegant keeping a European touch and sleek black and white finish with touches of steel. .Blacked oak wooden floors give the bedrooms an elegant touch flowing through the house at all levels. The basement has a specially made glass window into the depths of the swimming pool giving a special light feature to this space and constantly keeping in touch with the outdoors. Custom- made furniture give a unique touch to each room all of which were designed especially op to the smallest detail.
