This interior renovation of a 15 yrs old villa for a couple whose children grew-up thus needing a change in design was a challenge. Updating the villa for their current need while keeping the exterior of the house, shifting the location of certain functions, changing the sizes of each space, reallocation and rethinking the flow of space in the existing parameters was needed. A new entrance was introduced with a grand kitchen with direct access to the outer backyard. With new materials, finishes, custom-made carpentry and details designed to accentuate the European design of the new interior – the house was uplifted. Master bedrooms designed for all therr children one on each of the three levels of the villa giving each her own privacy – while the parent's master suite was designed as a complex of its own with a unique layout. Special attention was made for artwork throughout the house with lighting designed accordingly.
